Some people believe they know everything and it’s evident in the way they speak. Others are still learning and it’s evident in their silence! You don’t always have to speak to show others what you know, sometimes being quiet makes you look smarter.

I always tell people to vote – that’s another way to speak up…and if someone says your vote doesn’t matter be suspicious to their ways……then offset their words by bringing in a friend or someone who can’t drive and all of you vote. If we loose our vote…we ultimately loose our speech. I also tell people go out for coffee afterwards and make a connection. talk it out…laugh a lot…connect.

Indeed, and that’s what is becoming a rare commodity nowadays; most folks go about in a dazed zombie-like condition, totally unconcerned and disconnected, and hence, to vote or not to vote is not on their agenda as their prime concern is take keep running in the rat-race till they drop dead by the roadside! 😦

someone asked me how they thought they could make a change in the world…I said make small changes that will benefit somebody else. the zombie’s will always exist as will the disconnected (age? ) when it’s time for a vote I take my daughter out to dinner …I make it an occasion. Even if we know we won’t win. Unfortunately our esteemed president is going to worsen the disconnecteds and unconcerns. He’s going to make the rat race even worse. I still say laughter…joking around, talking, connecting can help offset the political dribble that faces everyone. my brother always talks about a pendulum and how it goes to the right but it has to balance out and go to the left ..i’m rambling…have a nice weekend. Very true, and hence, Lord Byron said:
“Admire, exult, despise, laugh, weep for here There is such matter for all feelings: Man! Thou pendulum betwixt a smile and tear.” Thank you and you too have a nice Weekend! 🙂
